Bring warm clothes, comfortable hiking shoes, and a small backpack for personal items. We provide gas masks, headlamps, water, and snacks for the hike.

This is a private experience — you’ll have your own driver and a dedicated local guide. No large groups, so you can enjoy the hike at your own pace.

The hike to Kawah Ijen takes about 1 hour to the crater rim on a steady uphill trail. It’s moderately challenging but doable for most people with average fitness. Our guide will assist you throughout, and all safety equipment is provided.

You’ll witness the rare Blue Fire phenomenon, explore the sulfur mines where locals work under extreme conditions, and see the turquoise sulfur lake at sunrise — all in one journey.

This is a 1-day experience starting with pick-up in Bali and finishing with drop-off at your hotel the next day.
